Term 4 - Week 2

 Kia ora families.

Welcome to week 2.

It's finally here,  moving week!

Ngā Puna visited our building (currently called Ti Kouka... where the office is) on Friday to have a 'practise' at what our new space will be like.  It felt so good being back in our original space and we are all really looking forward to being back with Sue, Vanessa and all our other Ngā Puna friends. This Thursday and Friday the 22nd and 23rd of October are teacher only days as teachers will be setting up spaces ready for school on the Tuesday after labour day. We look forward to seeing you all Tuesday morning in our new but old to us! space.

Thank you for engaging with our rhyming, segmenting and blending activities that are coming home in the K.I.T books. It's great to see the children so eager to participate during their reading times.

Open afternoon

You are invited to take a look around our new building from 3 to 5pm on Thursday 22 October. Connect Waimairi (PTA) have arranged entertainment. There will be a sausage sizzle and chocolate wheel. The new coffee shop will be open too so bring some $ $$.

Welcome

A big welcome to Waimairi School to Charlie and Blake who have joined us this week. Happy birthday boys and welcome to Ngā Puna. It is lovely to have you with us.
