Decorating Gingerbread men - Thursday the 25th of June

We are very excited that we have worked together and are now at Level one. We have missed having you in and meeting all the members in your family.

This Thursday - 25th of June - we would love for as many as your family who can - including grandparents and pre-schoolers - to join us in decorating gingerbread people and sharing some of our learning.

This is a very low-key event and won’t be anything like polished or ‘a concert’!!! It will be followed by a chance to work with your child (and pre-schooler if you have one) to create a one of a kind gingerbread person!

Please come to the hall at 10 to 2 (1:50) to celebrate all the work your delightful children have done since lock down.

Prior to this, if there are any parents available to help the children experience making gingerbread we would love that.
On Wednesday, at 11 - 12:30 we have the kitchen booked so that groups of children can make gingerbread to experience the smell, taste and process.
If you are able to help on Wednesday - please let us know. It would be a matter of ‘baking’ cookies with a group of children. everything supplied - just not the cooks!

Term 4 - Week 3

 Kia Ora families. Thank you so much for your support and understanding as we moved into our junior  Ngā Puna space at the end of last week. Yet again the resilience of our children and willingness from them to accept change is just outstanding. You should feel very proud of them all. We had a wonderful day in our new setting today. It was lovely to re connect with friends from the beginning of the year and with our other Junior teachers.   Our children walked through our lovely new building today to make connections with things that are the 'same' and things that are 'different'. The general consensus was people are the same, places are different! They did so well.  This Friday the 30th of October is our offical opening of our new school with ribbon cutting and all! Picnic at Edgar Macintosh Park tomorrow? (Friday the 18th) - Message from a parent.

  Kia ora koutou, Please see a lovely invitation for a get together after the assembly tomorrow. Unfortunately the teachers can’t attend as we still have to be ‘at school’ til 3!! Thank you so much to the parents who had this idea  a couple of nga Puna mums are going to have a picnic and paddle at Edgar Macintosh park tomorrow following the final assembly. All welcome. Would you consider sending a message to the nga Puna parents for anyone that is keen?
