We made it! Greetings whanau. What a long term we've had which began way back in lock down with S-foob (school from our own bubbles).  This is the last week of school before our school holidays start this Friday. School will be back on Tuesday the 21st of July. We hope you all have a WELL DESERVED break with your we people. What a year this has been thus far. We are both blown away with the resilience of our tamariki, the kindness of our community and support of our school families has been just lovely. Thanks to those of you who were able to make it to our 'gingerbread afternoon' in the hall last week. Also a big thank you to those parents who were able to help with the cooking and 'tasting' of gingerbread men. We had a blast! Here are a few snapshots. This week (Thursday) we are planning to have a 'Frolic in the rain' - If you're given lemons weather wise...let's make lemonade! Boots, umbrella's, jackets will all be needed. We'll ...

Stay after to help your child ice and decorate their own gingerbread man. A SUPER low key event, really we are just so looking forward to inviting you all in again since level 1 has started. All welcome. Next Term our older children in Nga Puna will be joining Sue and Vanessa in the Ti Kouka building for the remainder of the year. ( Check your child's reading folder for more info, letters sent out Monday) . They are still part of our Nga Puna whanau, just in a different location until we all join together again in Term Four. Sue and Vanessa have been working with us over the last few weeks and are well known to our Nga Puna children. A big welcome to ...

Kia ora. We are very excited that we have worked together and are now at Level one. We have missed having you in and meeting all the members in your family. This Thursday - 25th of June - we would love for as many as your family who can - including grandparents and pre-schoolers - to join us in decorating gingerbread people and sharing some of our learning. This is a very low-key event and won’t be anything like polished or ‘a concert’!!! It will be followed by a chance to work with your child (and pre-schooler if you have one) to create a one of a kind gingerbread person! Please come to the hall at 10 to 2 (1:50) to celebrate all the work your delightful children have done since lock down. Prior to this, if there are any parents available to help the children experience making gingerbread we would love that. On Wednesday, at 11 - 12:30 we have the kitchen booked so that groups of children can make gingerbread to experience the smell, taste and process. If you ...
