Term 4 - Week 3

Kia Ora families. Thank you so much for your support and understanding as we moved into our junior Ngā Puna space at the end of last week. Yet again the resilience of our children and willingness from them to accept change is just outstanding. You should feel very proud of them all. We had a wonderful day in our new setting today. It was lovely to re connect with friends from the beginning of the year and with our other Junior teachers. Our children walked through our lovely new building today to make connections with things that are the 'same' and things that are 'different'. The general consensus was people are the same, places are different! They did so well. This Friday the 30th of October is our offical opening of our new school with ribbon cutting and all! It starts at 1:30 pm. You are welcome to take your child home early after this event. See the note below for more info. Also below is a copy of the note sent home today. Kia Ora families. What a wonderful day we had together. We so enjoyed listening to your children's holiday stories and adventures. This week we are welcoming 2 new children into Nga Puna. Welcome to school Zendaya and Hunter. We are excited to have you and know that you will just love school. In children's K.I.T books you will find the activity we have done during the day. This activity supports learning happening in class. Please talk about this with your child.
